These drawings are part of an exhibition prepared by Warriors’ Liberation,a Ukrainian NGO foundedin
Kyiv in 2022 by families of Ukrainian prisoners of war and missing service members.
We support a community of nearly 1,000 families.
The exhibition features more than 200 drawings by children from the familiesof prisoners of war and
missing persons and will be presented in Kyiv in October 2026.
Later, it will be exhibited at various international venues.
Ukrainian children are waiting for fathers, mothers, siblings, grandfathers, uncles, and godfathers
who are missing or being held in russian captivity.
Every drawing tells a story of waiting for a loved one. They have been waiting for days, months, and years…
